In 1996, Liz Felt Wakeman, and her friends, collaborated to create a parks department in Lake in the Hills. That department started with a few people teaching a couple of things and the replacement of some antiquated park equipment. Today, the Parks & Recreation Department is an integral part of the community and a substantial part of our quality of life and and property value. Liz has been passionate about supporting the department for over 20 years and will continue her support now through her law firm, Wakeman Law Group. The firm focuses on family law and personal injury. Liz and her team focus on taking care of you when your life takes an unexpected turn.
