In 1996 a few women, including Liz, got together to form the Lake in the Hills Parks & Recreation Department. Liz was on the first Parks & Recreation Board and is a current member of the People for Parks Foundation of Lake in the Hills, Inc. board. When she is not involved with festivals, she practices law.
